Dolch Sight Word Practice

Dolch Sight words include lists of the most commonly occurring words found in those texts appropriate for elementary grade level students.  These are words that are not easily decoded by an emerging reader.  Therefore, the best way for students to improve their reading ability is to simply practice.  Print this PDF and practice daily with your students.  Once they master one list, have them move on to the next one.

Are you interested in earning money for your school and helping the environment, too? Don't throw away those plastic grocery bags!

Planet Patrol has signed our school up to collect H-E-B plastic grocery bags and will earn up to $1 for every pound. The bags you collect are then turned into trash bags, which can be purchased at H-E-B.

Sight Word Phrases

Practicing sight words increases a students ability to recall difficult words more easily.  However, we all know that we do not encounter words in isolation or in lists.  We experience words in context, in books, and in phrases.  This resource of sight word phrases will help your student become a more fluent reader and increase his/her prosody.  Download this PDF and start reading!
